Learning goals

The distance learning programme provides the participants with the opportunity to acquire scientific knowledge and skills in the area of evaluation and monitoring, a necessary requirement for the design, implementation and management of evaluations.

Module VII: Data Analysis Methods in the Field of Evaluation (5 credits)

Module VIII: Key Communication Qualifications in the Field of Evaluation (5 credits)

Evaluation Case Study (5 ECTS)

The M.A. programme is a cooperative programme run jointly by the Saarland University and the Distance and Independent Studies Center of the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau.

The Scientific directors are Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Meyer and Prof. Dr. Reinhard Stockmann.

Scope (duration)

The standard period of study is 4 semesters.

Target groups

The English-language Master's programme is aimed at professionals and executives in the area of evaluation, at professionals who work on evaluation tasks in organisations, administration or ministries and at independent or self-employed consultants.

Other Information

Mandatory on campus phases take place in the first and third semester for one week in Saarbrücken. All written module examinations are completed during mandatory on-campus phases.
